Tifoo Rose's metal – the product features at a glance:
- 250 gramm of rose's metal
- melting point below 100 ° Celsius
- ideal for filling plaster and India rubber forms
- fast and easy replication
Rose's metal is ideal for filling and replicating because it already melts at 94 °C. If Rose's metal is put into boiling water, it sinks to the ground as a liquid metal drop. Thanks to its low melting point, you can fill plaster prints and forms with it. When it cools down, it recovers its hard and resistant nature. It is not suited for food, as it contains lead. In exchange, it is very suitable for artistic objects and imprints of historic objects like e.g. coins. Rose's Metal can be electroplated after being cast, for example with bronze and then with gold. It can also be used for soldering. Rose's Metal is a fantastic material thanks to its low melting point.
